About CES

The Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) was founded in 2012. In only the last six years, we have organized 60 events and have produced 60 papers, among which 15 are in Scopus-indexed journals. We have implemented donor-funded projects worth $500,000 from prestigious US and UK-based donors, including the State Department, UK High Commission, FCO UK, etc. We have worked with Ivy League Faculty, CXOs of leading multinationals in Bangladesh, the World’s number one ranking think tank, Chatham House, and have also been ranked 39 globally, for our project activities, by WURI World Rankings 2021. CES is led by Sajid Amit, who is an alumnus of Dartmouth College, SOAS, and Columbia University, having worked at Morgan Stanley New York and KPMG in India.
