CES Workshop: “Emotional Intelligence as the Driver of Entrepreneurial Success” by Imran Newaz Khurshid Junction Ventures, Dnet

On Monday, October 9, the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), in partnership with Junction Ventures, D-NET, organized a workshop for undergraduate students, titled “Emotional Intelligence as the Driver of Entrepreneurial Success.” The workshop was conducted by Mr. Imran Newaz Khurshid, Manager, School of Entrepreneurship, Junction Ventures.

Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees, ULAB, was a special guest at the event. He opened the event by impressing upon students the importance of emotional intelligence in everyday lives and in entrepreneurship. The event was also attended by Mr. Sajid Amit, Director, CES; and also Dr. Kazi Mahmud, Mr. Ahmed Ishtiaque, and Mr. Adib Sarwar, the current Researchers of CES. Mr. Adib Sarwar also co-coordinated the workshop.

Over thirty students from various departments with previous track record or interest in entrepreneurship participated in the highly interactive session. The workshop is a part of an on going initiative between ULAB and DNET to popularize entrepreneurship among students and instill essential skills for an entrepreneurial career.
