Report Launching Held – Shopper Survey on E-Commerce in Bangladesh: Perception, Demand & Usage Trends

On Wednesday, February 1, the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) at the University of Liberal Arts (ULAB) organized a report launching ceremony for its survey entitled “Shopper Survey on E-commerce in Bangladesh: Perception, Demand & Usage Trends.” The survey, conducted towards the end of 2016, encompassed shoppers in Dhanmondi, Uttara, Mirpur and Gulshan, across age, sex, professional and other demographic groups.

The launching ceremony was attended by Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor, ULAB; Mr. Fahim Mashroor, Founder and CEO of and; Mr. Minhaz Anwar, Head of Grameenphone Accelerator and Founder and Managing Director, BetterStories Ltd; Sajid Amit, Director, CES, ULAB, other faculty members at ULAB, and an auditorium packed with students.

The launching ceremony comprised of a presentation delivered by the CES Team followed by a panel discussion. The presentation was well-received by the visiting guests and a follow-up nationwide study covering rural Bangladesh, was encouraged.
